An Engineer Who Chose People Over Machines

I didn't start out as a counsellor. I started out as an Engineering graduate, trained to solve technical problems with logic and precision. But somewhere along the way, I found myself drawn to a different kind of problem, one far more human: the confusion, doubt, and fear that students, graduates, and professionals carry when they don't know what comes next.

That realisation changed the direction of my life. I moved from engineering into education, and for the last 14+ years, I've made it my life's work to help people find clarity where there was once only confusion.

A Career Built on Listening

Over the past decade and a half, I've worked with several leading edtech organisations, where I interacted directly with thousands of students. I didn't counsel from behind a desk with generic advice. I sat with students, listened to their stories, understood their fears, and helped them see paths they couldn't see on their own.

School students confused about which stream or subject to choose

Graduates unsure of which career direction fits them best

Working professionals wondering if it's too late to switch paths, or how to grow further in their current one

Through every conversation, one truth kept repeating itself: most people don't fail because they lack ability. They struggle because they lack clarity and confidence. That insight became the foundation of everything I do today.
